Working Out the Kinks

nanaeanavenThis chapter has taken me for-fucking-ever to finish. Seriously. My last chapter was posted a little over eight months ago. I had hoped to have it done before Halloween. Then it was Thanksgiving. Then Christmas. New Years. *Sigh* Last year SUCKED as far as writing goes. Here's hoping that the burst of inspiration that allowed me to finish this chapter last night (and kept me up way past my bedtime) is a sign that the muse is going to treat me a little better in 2011.
Notes: A vague amount of time passing is alluded to in this installment. At least few days, probably closer to a week, but there's leeway. I had no idea exactly how long Mystery & Kiera had been locked in Mystery's quarters with Clint & Johnny and no time to go back and figure it out, so I apologize in advance if I messed anyone up.
