Well, it's been a very long time indeed, since I've posted here. This is a chapter I started many, many moons ago. I've added roughly 1500 words to what I found hidden away in my vault. Remember the snatch and grab Rose and Ruby pulled off? Well here's how Ruby is dealing with her newest acquisition.

Finally. Really, that's all I can say. I stated this chapter last October. October! I've had the majority of it written for months. MONTHS I tell you! But, as they say, the devil is in the details and it's the little nitfuckingpicky details that have held this up for far too long.

I have to thank Mad & Gin for their help with this chapter. They tossed around ideas with me and contributed suggestions. Gin actually wrote a fair bit of Ruby's dialogue and Peter's too. She also beta'd for me, of course I've added more since the last version, so I take full responsibility for any errors you may find.

Notes: This chapter comprises the day following my previous post. It's a really long fucking day too. *sigh* Damn plot.

This chapter has taken me for-fucking-ever to finish. Seriously. My last chapter was posted a little over eight months ago. I had hoped to have it done before Halloween. Then it was Thanksgiving. Then Christmas. New Years. *Sigh* Last year SUCKED as far as writing goes. Here's hoping that the burst of inspiration that allowed me to finish this chapter last night (and kept me up way past my bedtime) is a sign that the muse is going to treat me a little better in 2011.

Notes: A vague amount of time passing is alluded to in this installment. At least few days, probably closer to a week, but there's leeway. I had no idea exactly how long Mystery & Kiera had been locked in Mystery's quarters with Clint & Johnny and no time to go back and figure it out, so I apologize in advance if I messed anyone up.

so i finally got around to getting this one written up. my brain has been going weird places lately. (Steve's tights) so it took me a while to deliver the promised goods. i have no clue how long this has been floating around in my head. i do know that Daz has been waiting patiently for it. okay, so not so patiently. but she's been waiting. i hope this is as good as she wants it to be.

dazzledfirestar 's Should Know Better and follows in the vein of Payback, Opportunity Knocks, One Good Turn, Cream and Should Know Better. this is kind of the climax of all five of those pieces. enjoy.

Figured I'd better post what I have before the story gets too far ahead of me. Since the muses seem to have abandoned me and my arm is all fucked up, I prolly won't be doing anymore writing for a while. *sigh* Besides, I figured it'd be good to shake things up a bit. The girls have been getting tied up entirely too much lately. ;)

Time line wise this happens the day after Tony was snatched which, iirc, is the same day that Clint was -right? So this is their first full day at the lair. I'm not sure if that puts it before Lady & Daz's latest chapters, or just Gin's? At any rate - here it is.

once again, i have had successful bunnies! run. flee for your lives. be very, very afraid. this picks up after the events of my Payback and

dazzledfirestar's Opportunity Knocks. some of the dialogue got borrowed from Daz. not much.

um... this is... yeah. i think my brain melted about halfway through. and i'm not sure about the way i ended it. but my brain melted and i didn't think i could function properly and... yeah. you get the idea.

i think i need a cigarette and i don't smoke. don't say i didn't warn you.

Just a little fill in the blank for Kiera after she left the kitchen at the end Pizza and Beer and an answer to the question the end of Payback posed. Who would be knocking on Mystery's door at such an inopportune moment? I bet you can guess. LOL

Also, the dialogue after everyone gets into Mystery's room actually belongs to ladydeathfaerie but she was sweet enough to let me sneak a peak and use it! Thanks sweetie! :D

hey, check this out! i had an idea! and i hurried to write it down.

this came to me the other night while chatting with Daz. there will eventually be more, but for now, this is it. oh, by the way. its smut. yes. smut. so you've been warned. it comes in at just over 5000 words so a moderate read. i think, once you get into it, you'll see where the title came from.

in order to keep things neat and handy, i've gone ahead and created an index for the post SV fics. at the moment, its small but i'm sure, given the way our brains all work, it'll end up expanding and growing. best to start this now, before there are way too many fics to keep track of. and this will make it easy to find all of these fics instead of combing through personal LJs and the like.

i'll hopefully keep it updated. also, the fics are in order according to the official series list. the links are from both LiveJournal and EFFN.

wow. this is seriously short for me. not even 4,000 words. um... so its just a little bit of filler. i think. i guess.

Daz and i talked out some of this stuff some time ago, when i wasn't coming up with much of anything. the original idea sprang up quite some time ago. most of it i came up with today. she helped with some of the dialogue, too. thanks, Daz.

Hey, look, it's another chapter. ^_^ I didn't want to let the whole, 'what was Ria doing in Scott's cell' question go unanswered, and I knew that Mad was busy, so I figured I'd whip a little something up to fill in the blanks. A lot of the interaction between Ria & Scott is based on an IM conversation I had with Mad late one night. She also gets credit for assuring me that I had Thor's voice right. Thanks, Mad!

As far as the timeline goes, this happens sometime after Ruby takes Piotr back to her dungeon. I left the precise time vague so there's a bit of wiggle room. The whole post takes up a couple hours at most, so it shouldn't be too hard to work around.
